2025 Vitara Hybrid: Facelift, Upgraded Tech and Efficiency Drive Appeal

The Vitara hybrid remains a popular model in the range and Suzuki is very pleased to announce some significant revisions for 2025 with redefined SUV styling, an even higher level of standard equipment and technology as well as further improved hybrid efficiency.

Refined SUV Styling

One of the most noticeable updates for the 2025 Vitara is its refreshed exterior design. The front of the car gets a completely reworked grille and bumper, giving it a more modern, dynamic look. The rear also benefits from a new upper spoiler and rear window side spoilers, adding a touch of sportiness. In addition, the Vitara now rides on newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels, further elevating its presence on the road. Two new metallic colour options are available: Sphere Blue Pearl dual-tone and Titan Dark Grey single-tone, offering customers more ways to personalise their vehicles.

Enhanced Safety Features

Safety continues to be a priority for Suzuki, and the 2025 Vitara reflects this with a higher level of technology and features as standard. Both the Motion and Ultra grades now come equipped with advanced driver-assist technologies:

Intelligent Speed Control
Driver Monitoring System
eCall for emergency assistance

One of the most significant upgrades is to the Dual Sensor Brake Support, which has been enhanced to use a combination of millimetre-wave radar and a monocular camera. This new system improves collision mitigation, offering better night-time performance, enhanced visibility at intersections, and more accurate detection of pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists, and other vehicles.

Standard Tech Upgrades

Inside, the 2025 Vitara offers a more connected and comfortable experience with an upgraded suite of standard features. Both Motion and Ultra grades now include a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, along with wireless smartphone integration for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with:

Keyless entry and start
High Beam Assist
Auto-dimming rear-view mirror
Rear parking sensors
Suzuki Connect with a three-year free subscription

Ultra Grade: Even More Features

For those who want a little more luxury and convenience, the Ultra grade steps up the specification even further to include:

New 17-inch polished alloy wheels
Panoramic sliding sunroof
Premium suede and leather seats
Front and rear parking sensors
Electric folding door mirrors with built-in indicators
Overhead storage console for extra convenience

Improved Hybrid Efficiency

Suzuki has also focused on making the Vitara even more efficient for 2025, with improved fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions. For the manual transmission models with 2-wheel drive (2WD), the 1.4-litre mild-hybrid engine offers a 9% improvement in fuel consumption, now achieving an impressive 53.2 mpg (WLTP combined). Full hybrid models with 2WD and AGS (Automated Gear Shift) transmission see a 6% improvement, reaching 56.4 mpg. The CO2 emissions have also been reduced, with the 1.5-litre full hybrid Motion model now emitting just 113g/km, down from 119g/km in the previous model.

Powertrain Options: Mild Hybrid & Full Hybrid

As before, the 2025 Vitara continues to offer hybrid power as standard, with a choice of two powertrains:

1.4-litre Boosterjet turbocharged petrol engine with 48V mild hybrid for those who prefer a manual transmission, or:
1.5-litre full hybrid version with AGS transmission, offering the convenience of automatic transmission.

Both versions can be paired with either 2WD or 4WD, offering flexibility to meet different driving needs and makes the Vitara one of the few compact SUVs to offer both manual and automatic hybrid drivetrain options, with the choice of four-wheel drive as well.

With the 2025 updates, the Vitara continues to deliver a blend of modern style, advanced safety features, and eco-friendly hybrid technology. Whether you’re looking for a practical daily driver, a family-friendly SUV, or a vehicle with cutting-edge tech and improved efficiency, the new Vitara checks all the boxes. The introduction of the Motion and Ultra grades further enhances its appeal, offering more customisation options and added luxury. With better fuel economy, lower emissions, and an even higher level of standard equipment, the 2025 Vitara looks set to remain a strong contender in the competitive small SUV market.

I told them I had a few marks on the drivers side, when I collected it they had removed the marks and you couldn't even see they were there. I would not buy a car anywhere else. they keep you informed of what is going on. I also like the fact that they do health checks on the car. Great company to buy a car from.

I recently purchased a new Suzuki from Tracks and also popped it in for its complementary 2 months old "Health check style" service.So far my experience with all members of staff and the service received have been excellent and I have only heard good things about this particular Suzuki franchise. Expectations were met in regards to the agreed duration of the service so I was able to collect the car 60mins after dropping it off. So I did a bit of shopping in the locale and then spent 20mins in the Bake My Day café next to the dealership enjoying a great cup of coffee and freshly baked cinnamon role.Also I received a nice checklist email whilst I was in the café with a video attached which also enables me to have a kind of electronic copy of the servicing carried out if I should ever want to sell the car on in the future.Hopefully when the car starts to show some wear & tear such things as brake pad/disc thickness (if they need replacing) will be captured on the video with digital callipers so you can see that the technician is demonstrating the facts and not an opinion.I there was only one small niggly bit of critical feedback is that is if they are going to offer a free wash and vacuum on vehicles in for a service then please use a microfibre type towel to remove the excess water droplets afterwards (weather permitting of course). Having just washed and waxed my car a few days prior to taking it in I was disappointed to see water droplet rings develop as the car dried out subsequently spoiling all my prior hard work.Maybe it should be an opt out question asked when dropping the vehicle off i.e. "would you like your car washed and vacuumed?" (if they have the time).

Last Tuesday (23rd July) I took my Swift in for fitment of an accessory which the dealership were awaiting delivery of when I collected the car towards the end of June. At the same time they carried out the 2 month health check, which saved me a 75 mile round trip from Somerset. Excellent service as ever and the car had been washed and vacuumed. This is my second Swift and fifth Suzuki, and all have been purchased from Tracks - the previous ones from their Taunton dealership. It is a 100 mile round trip for me to have my Vitara serviced by Tracks and, as always, on 4th June it was well worth it. Always treat my like a really valued customer. They really went the extra mile this time - I couldn’t believe it when I returned to my car not only to find it immaculately washed and cleaned inside, but they had also somehow managed to remove a horrible red paint scrape on the side of the car which someone had left whilst my car was parked months ago. I hadn’t managed to get the mark off in months of trying. I hadn’t asked them to do this - well done Tracks. It is so rare to be delighted like this.

Sadly it’s sometimes difficult to find loyal, honest, and caring people to look after your car - however, I am so pleased that I chose Tracks Suzuki.

TracksCare is a great service/care plan for my Swift - it’s affordable, the service is great, it covers a lifetime warranty on your vehicle, and you can’t get much better than that. Free labour, discounted parts, and a complimentary coffee and valet too! (Made me feel better when I had to drop my car off first thing on an early morning!) 😉

The team are great and are always happy to help - they’re very accommodating and deal with you in a very professional and friendly approach. I would love to name a few people in particular but I wouldn’t want to be unfair to the rest of the team and therefore I think my appreciation must go towards the whole of Tracks itself, as I’m yet to come across a single person who doesn’t carry that great work ethic. I purchased my Swift from Taunton and now go to the Exeter dealership due to it being more local and both places are equally as great to work with.
