E10 petrol: Is my Suzuki compatible?

September 1, 2021

To help reduce vehicle emissions and hit decarbonisation targets, the government has today introduced a new ‘standard’ type  of unleaded petrol called E10 fuel.

The name ‘E10’ is a reference to the ethanol – or bioethanol – mix in the fuel, up from a 5% mix in E5 petrol that has been supplied at forecourts for years.

The higher levels of ethanol in E10, which consists of various plant materials, means less fossil fuel emissions are produced in the making of the petrol, making it better for the environment.

All cars built since 2011 are compatible with E10 fuel, but check our Suzuki compatibilty guide to see if your vehicle is affected. (If your model is not listed below but was manufactured after 2011 it will be compatible).
