Advanced safety features
Dual Sensor Brake Support II (DSBS II) employs radar and a monocular camera to detect potential collisions, issuing warnings and automatically engaging brake assist if needed.
Lane Keep Assist (LKA) helps maintain the vehicle’s position in the centre of the lane.
Driver Monitoring System (DMS) alerts the driver if signs of drowsiness or distraction are detected.

2023 Suzuki Swace gains power and tech upgrades

Suzuki has unveiled its 2023 model update Swace, a stylish and versatile mid-sized estate offering drivers excellent efficiency, space and versatility combined with dynamic styling.
Significant changes to the engine and hybrid system bring improved performance and driveability with the combined power output increasing 15% from 122hp to 140hp and acceleration time reduced by 1.7s to 9.4s.
For 2023, standard specification is even higher – the new Motion grade includes 8″ touchscreen system featuring wireless Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto and rear parking camera, heated front seats and heated steering wheel, type C USB port, dynamic radar cruise control, emergency driving stop system, seven airbags, LED rear lamps plus dual-zone automatic air conditioning.
The new Ultra grade adds updated Bi-LED projector headlights, smart door locking, interior ambient light, safe exit assist, front and rear parking sensors, blind spot monitor, rear cross traffic alert and wireless smartphone charging.
The Swace is available in seven different colours – Super White, Precious Silver, Black Mica, Dark Blue Mica, Phantom Brown Metallic, Oxide Bronze Metallic and new Platinum White Pearlescent.
Pricing starts at £28,999 for Motion grade and £30,799 for Ultra.

The Suzuki S-Cross is now available with full hybrid technology that helps lower CO2 emissions and improves fuel consumption even further than the current mild hybrid with automatic transmission.
Full hybrid technology
The system consists of a 140V lithium-ion battery and inverter, Motor Generator Unit (MGU), a 12V lithium-ion battery and a conventional 12V lead-acid battery to power components requiring lower voltage such as lights, instruments, heating and air-conditioning.
Selectable hybrid modes
The new hybrid system has two switchable modes – Eco and Standard – which enables the driver to change between the two modes depending on conditions and increases the frequency of EV driving.
MGU
The MGU acts as a generator and starter motor and assists the petrol engine during vehicle take off. The high-performance lithium-ion battery stores electrical energy recovered from deceleration and braking and incorporates an idle stop function operated via the integrated starter generator. Based on engine speed and throttle position, the engine ECU judges when the driver will accelerate then uses the electric motor to add additional torque.
The hybrid system collects kinetic energy and generates electricity by stopping the engine and disengaging the clutch during deceleration, which increases the EV driving range. As a full hybrid, the S-Cross can run solely on its electric motor for short distances.
Transmission
The S-Cross full hybrid comes equipped with Auto Gear Shift (AGS) that automatically shifts the manual transmission and gear ratios to help provide a good combination of performance and fuel economy. AGS enables the driver to enjoy both the direct driving experience of a manual gearbox and the shifting ease of an automatic transmission. The transmission also has a manual mode with steering-wheel-mounted shift paddles.
One notable feature of the latest hybrid system with AGS is the position of the MGU on the output side of the transmission assembly. As a result, power from the MGU is directly transmitted to the driveshafts to fill the torque gap during shifting and provides a smoother transition from the transmission.
CO2 emissions
Thanks to full hybrid technology, high tensile steel and other weight-saving measures in the body, S-Cross CO2 emissions are low (118g/km) with an impressive combined fuel economy of 53mpg.
ALLGRIP 4-wheel drive
Suzuki’s ALLGRIP 4-wheel drive system is available as an option on the Ultra model and incorporates four selectable drive modes – Auto, Sport, Snow and Lock – for safe, enjoyable driving on diverse surfaces.

Standard equipment is comprehensive with the entry-level Motion model featuring: dual-zone auto air conditioning, heated front seats, keyless entry and start, 17″ silver alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, rear parking camera and a “7 inch touchscreen display. Moving up to the top-spec Ultra you get a larger 9″ diplay, 17” polished alloy wheels, 360 view camera, panoramic sunroof, leather seats and the availability of ALLGRIP 4WD as an option.

Hybrid Automatic variants of Vitara & S-Cross launched

We’re pleased to announce the introduction of new automatic hybrid variants of Vitara and S-Cross. These new models complete the transition of the Suzuki line-up to 100% hybrid as standard.
Vitara and S-Cross models with 48V hybrid 6-speed automatic tranmissions are now available to order and deliveries will start later in March. The Motability Scheme will be open for new applications on these models in the week commencing 8th March.
Vitara
The current 0% APR and Suzuki Contract Hire campaigns apply for all Vitara automatic variants in March. Plus, the £2,000 finance deposit contribution and £2,000 cash savings for non-finance customers available on Vitara SZ-T also apply to the automatic version.
The Vitara SZ-T automatic model now includes keyless entry/start as standard (not available on SZ-T manual).
The S-Cross headline campaign with £3,250 customer saving is available on automatic variants, together with the current 5.9% APR and Suzuki Contract Hire offers.

However, thanks to Tracks, they have completely and undeniably restored my faith in car dealerships.As of February this year, 2024, I returned to Tracks to seek my next vehicle. They are both an absolute pleasure to work with, and can’t do enough for you should there ever be any circumstances or issues that might be tricky to work around.Lastly, a big thank you to Jack, on the Sales team, who has just sold me my beautiful SX4 S-Cross. I came to Jack with a rather picky list of criteria for my next car, and without shadow of a doubt, Jack exceeded all of my expectations. Not just the spec, or the car itself, but consideration of the price range, after care, and any requirements for an effortless handover. Jack always made himself available to me, whenever I needed to ask a question or seek his support. And everytime, he was so reassuring, kind, helpful, and generally just made this whole process nothing but genuinely enjoyable, fun, and effortless. Just bought a Suzuki Vitara from Tracks Suzuki! What a pleasurable experience. Came up looking at one car, which wasn’t to my liking, however was quickly shown something more to my taste. After looking around at different garages, I retuned to Tracks as their customer service was perfect, they were keen to help me is every way possible and kept in contact whilst I was making my decision without being overbearing. I have collected my car today, which was to an impeccable standard, brand new MOT and service. Whilst looking for my next car, I found it difficult narrowing down my options. With that being said, I was recommended Tracks by a family member, who was proud to have had nearly 3 Swift’s in the last 15 years! TracksCare is a great service/care plan for my Swift - it’s affordable, the service is great, it covers a lifetime warranty on your vehicle, and you can’t get much better than that. Free labour, discounted parts, and a complimentary coffee and valet too! (Made me feel better when I had to drop my car off first thing on an early morning!) 😉
The team are great and are always happy to help - they’re very accommodating and deal with you in a very professional and friendly approach. I would love to name a few people in particular but I wouldn’t want to be unfair to the rest of the team and therefore I think my appreciation must go towards the whole of Tracks itself, as I’m yet to come across a single person who doesn’t carry that great work ethic. I purchased my Swift from Taunton and now go to the Exeter dealership due to it being more local and both places are equally as great to work with.
