Tracks Used Car Warranty
Every used car we sell comes with either a manufacturer backed warranty or our comprehensive Tracks warranty. For cars outside their original manufacturer’s warranty we automatically include 3-months cover, with extended warranties available up to 24 months for used Suzuki’s.
What’s covered?
Our warranty covers the following factory-fitted parts and labour: Engine; Gearbox; Final drive; Clutch; Suspension; Air conditioning; Batteries; Cooling; Steering; Turbo; Braking; Exhaust; Electrics; Bearings; Oil seals.
What’s not covered?
The following items aren’t covered under our warranty. Claims for mechanical breakdown of covered parts due to wear and tear will also be decline; Air cleaners; Auxiliary belts; Brake friction material & discs/drums; Brake pipes; Clutch facings; Driveshaft & steering rack gaiters; Electrical connection blocks, terminals & fuses; Engine, gearbox, axle & driveline mountings; Fuel filters; Handbrake cables; Hoses & hose clips; Light bulbs; Oil filters & gaskets; PAS high pressure hose/pipes; Pollen/odour filters; Reprogramming/software updates; Spark plugs; Sunroof cables; Tyres; Wheels; Wiper blades.
Terms & Conditions
Definitions – ‘We’ or ‘Us’ refers to Tracks Suzuki Group as the seller of the goods as described on the order form. ‘You’ refers to the customer as the purchaser of the goods as described on the order form. ‘Vehicle’ refers to the goods purchased as described on the order form. ‘Warranty’ refers to the guarantee issued to the purchaser of the goods by Tracks Suzuki Group should a repair to the goods be necessary within a specified period of time. You must adhere to the terms and conditions as set out within this warranty booklet otherwise we will accept no liability. This warranty booklet and the validation certificate should be read in conjunction with each other and taken as the contract. You must adhere to the set procedure laid out in this warranty booklet under ‘how to make a claim’. We must be informed at the earliest time possible if a probable claim may occur. We won’t accept liability if you’ve continued to use the vehicle knowing it to be faulty and in doing so cause further damage to it. No claims will be considered unless the manufacturer recommended service schedule has been adhered to. The tolerance shall be 30 days or 500 miles. We won’t accept liability for faults occurring under the following categories: Gradual deterioration; Neglect; Lack of servicing; Accelerated wear & tear; Lack of anti-freeze or lubricants; Overheating; Intrusion of foreign or deleterious matter. Nor will we accept liability for: Inherent design faults; Parts not originally fitted by the manufacturer; Any item recalled by the manufacturer; Consequential losses; Bodily injury; Road hazard or fire damage claims; Losses resulting from direct impact. When the correct fee has been paid then any liability is subject to the limits set out within the warranty booklet. When the total value of claims reaches the purchase price of the vehicle the warranty will be deemed to have expired. We will undertake a pre-delivery inspection of the vehicle to ascertain the condition of the covered components wherever possible. The speedometer figures are simply an indication to you of when the next service is due and doesn’t give a guarantee of the true mileage covered by the vehicle. Under no circumstances will we refund monies paid for our warranty. Warranty is non-transferable and not valid to subsequent owners of the vehicle. Any servicing or repairs to the vehicle during the specified warranty period must be undertaken by ourselves otherwise we will accept no liability.
