Discontinued as a passenger car in late 2020 due to tightening emission laws in the UK, the Jimny is now available in very limited numbers as a commercial vehicle (without rear seats and with a partition separating luggage space from the front seats).

The multifunctional steering wheel can be vertically adjusted up to 35mm, while the meter cluster is always illuminated for clear viewing – day and night. The controls are designed for quick and easy operation even when wearing gloves, and multiple ride-in assist grips provide additional support when travelling across uneven terrain.

Whether you’re navigating the urban jungle or exploring off the beaten track, the Jimny offers ample space and practical storage to accommodate every need. Both the passenger and commercial Jimny’s offer maximum accessibility, with the wide opening tailgate allowing for easy storage of large items. The passenger and loading compartments are separated by a sturdy safety grille in the 2-seat commercial model, while the rear seats in the passenger version fold completely flat to offer a generous 377-litres of boot space.

Tackle tough terrain
The Jimny comes with a strong, tough and flexible ladder frame, a serious foundation for off-road performance. 3-link rigid axle suspension with coil springs gives the Jimny superior grip, so when an obstacle pushes one wheel up, the axle presses the other wheel down to increase tyre contact on uneven terrains. If two wheels diagonal across from each other lose grip, the limited-slip differential traction control will automatically brake the slipping wheels, applying torque to the other two wheels and ensuring the Jimny remains as steady and capable as ever.
Advanced performance guaranteed
To take on the elements, you need powerful performance and the Jimny’s robust 1.5-litre petrol engine has got what it takes. It delivers strong torque throughout a wide RPM, while being small and lightweight enough to ensure high fuel efficiency. Thanks to ALLGRIP Pro 4-wheel drive, it can adapt to difficult conditions at the shift of the transfer lever. Switch to 4L mode for maximum torque control and traction; 4H mode to enjoy traction at higher speeds like flatter off-road terrains, or 2H mode for a smoother, quieter and more fuel-efficient ride for paved roads.

When you’re driving a vehicle as capable as the Jimny, it’s only natural to want to take on the most challenging of conditions, so it’s important to feel confident and safe behind the wheel. That’s why the Jimny is equipped with some of the latest safety features to give you everything you need to feel more protected.
Dual sensor brake support
When moving, two sensors – a monocular camera and a laser sensor – determine if there is a risk of collision with a forward vehicle or pedestrian. Upon detecting a potential collision, the Jimny will either alert the driver with an audible and visual warning; deploy brake assist to increase braking force if the risk is high; or apply strong automatic braking if the risk increases.
High beam assist
At 25mph or faster, the system automatically switches the headlights between high and low beams depending on the presence of other vehicles and the lighting environment.
Weaving alert
If the vehicle is swaying from side to side within the lane while traveling at 37mph or faster, a buzzer and warning light on the multi-information display draws the driver’s attention to weaving caused by drowsiness or other factors.
Traffic sign recoginition
A monocular camera monitors the road for traffic signs and when it detects signs such as speed limits or no overtaking zones, it displays the sign on the multi-information display to alert the driver.
Lane departure warning
A monocular camera detects the boundaries of the lane while travelling at speeds above 37mph and if it determines that unintentional lane departure is likely, it issues visual and tactile warnings to the driver.
