Tracks Crowned Triple Winner at Suzuki Dealer Awards 2025
May 2, 2025
We’re incredibly proud to announce that Tracks of Exeter has achieved a remarkable hat-trick at this year’s Suzuki Dealer of the Year Awards, taking home three of the most prestigious titles:
- National Dealer of the Year
- Regional Dealer of the Year (Region F)
- Best Customer Experience
The awards were presented during Suzuki GB PLC’s annual National Dealer Conference, held at The Grove Hotel in Watford. The ceremony featured Sir Clive Woodward, the legendary Rugby World Cup-winning coach, who joined the Suzuki Directors in presenting the awards and delivering a motivational keynote as the event’s guest speaker.
To be named the top Suzuki dealership in the region is a huge honour in itself—but to also win nationally and be recognised for delivering the Best Customer Experience across the entire dealer network makes this achievement truly special.
These accolades reflect the results of a nationwide assessment across Suzuki’s entire dealer network. Dealerships were evaluated based on a combination of key performance metrics including: percentage of target sales achieved, finance penetration, customer experience in both sales and service, and parts and accessory performance. All of this data was aggregated into a balanced scoreboard, and we’re thrilled to have come out on top in three categories.
David Kateley, Director Automobile at Suzuki GB PLC, commented: “Our annual awards are always a fantastic opportunity to recognise the hard work and achievements of our dealer network. It’s great to be able to celebrate the dedication and loyalty of our dealerships and I’d like to congratulate all of our winners.
Special congratulations goes to the team at Tracks of Exeter who are celebrating their triple win. We look forward to a successful 2025 and meeting again next year to celebrate even more of our achievements.”
From everyone here at Tracks, we’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our loyal customers and especially to every member of our dedicated team on their outstanding performance.
Suzuki Launches 10-Year Service Activated Warranty
April 19, 2025
We are thrilled to announce a major upgrade to our customer care offering — the launch of an extended Suzuki 10-Year Service Activated Warranty. This enhanced program, building on the previous 7-year version introduced in Spring 2023, continues to be available completely free of charge to our customers.
Coinciding with the upcoming release of the brand’s first all-electric model, the eVitara, arriving this autumn, Suzuki are also introducing a market-leading 10-year EV battery warranty. This generous coverage extends two years beyond what most competitors offer and exceeds current industry regulations by a full two years — offering even greater peace of mind for new EV buyers.
How Service Activated Warranty Works
Starting May 1, the new Service Activated Warranty becomes available to customers. Once a vehicle reaches the end of its original manufacturer warranty (3 years or 60,000 miles), owners simply need to have their car serviced at an authorised Suzuki dealership to activate the additional coverage. The warranty then continues until the next scheduled service and can be renewed again — every time — up to a maximum of 10 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
This coverage includes major components and is also fully transferable if the car is sold between services — again, at no extra cost. Even vehicles bought privately or with a gap in dealer servicing may qualify, making it one of the most flexible programs on the market.
A Commitment to Reliability and Customer Care
This move reinforces Suzuki’s longstanding reputation for reliability and customer satisfaction. Denis Houston, Director of Aftersales at Suzuki GB PLC, stated: “At Suzuki, customer experience and retention are paramount. The extension of our Service Activated Warranty ensures customers continue to receive expert care, genuine parts, and high service standards through our dealer network. We’re proud to offer this warranty free of charge in both the UK and Ireland — it’s a strong message of our commitment.”
Suzuki’s focus on customer service has not gone unnoticed. The brand recently received recognition for its Customer Feedback Strategy at the UK Customer Satisfaction Awards (UKCSI) and previously won the Trusted Quality Provider award. In fact, Suzuki has been named the No.1 automotive brand in the UKCSI eight times since 2019 — a testament to the brand’s consistent dedication to quality and trust.

Suzuki is thrilled to announce that the Swift Hybrid has been awarded the title of Best Small Car at the 2025 UK Car of the Year Awards (UKCOTY). After undergoing extensive testing alongside its competitors, the Swift was chosen as the winner by the judging panel.
Several jury members shared their thoughts on why the Swift stood out: “Practical, affordable small cars are rare these days, but Suzuki’s Swift comes to the rescue, offering honest motoring at an accessible price with low running costs. It’s fun to drive and packed with features, even in the base model,” said Alex Robbins. “The Swift strikes a perfect balance between value, economy, and style. “An unbeatable combination of reliability and efficiency, thanks to its simple powertrain. In a market full of complicated vehicles, the Swift stands out with its refreshing simplicity, all while keeping an affordable price that appeals to a wide range of drivers,” added Natisha Chatten.

2025 Vitara Hybrid: Facelift, Upgraded Tech and Efficiency Drive Appeal
November 8, 2024
The Vitara hybrid remains a popular model in the range and Suzuki is very pleased to announce some significant revisions for 2025 with redefined SUV styling, an even higher level of standard equipment and technology as well as further improved hybrid efficiency.
Refined SUV Styling
One of the most noticeable updates for the 2025 Vitara is its refreshed exterior design. The front of the car gets a completely reworked grille and bumper, giving it a more modern, dynamic look. The rear also benefits from a new upper spoiler and rear window side spoilers, adding a touch of sportiness. In addition, the Vitara now rides on newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels, further elevating its presence on the road. Two new metallic colour options are available: Sphere Blue Pearl dual-tone and Titan Dark Grey single-tone, offering customers more ways to personalise their vehicles.
Enhanced Safety Features
Safety continues to be a priority for Suzuki, and the 2025 Vitara reflects this with a higher level of technology and features as standard. Both the Motion and Ultra grades now come equipped with advanced driver-assist technologies:
- Lane Keep Assist
- Intelligent Speed Control
- Driver Monitoring System
- eCall for emergency assistance
One of the most significant upgrades is to the Dual Sensor Brake Support, which has been enhanced to use a combination of millimetre-wave radar and a monocular camera. This new system improves collision mitigation, offering better night-time performance, enhanced visibility at intersections, and more accurate detection of pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists, and other vehicles.
Standard Tech Upgrades
Inside, the 2025 Vitara offers a more connected and comfortable experience with an upgraded suite of standard features. Both Motion and Ultra grades now include a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, along with wireless smartphone integration for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with:
- Keyless entry and start
- High Beam Assist
- Auto-dimming rear-view mirror
- Rear parking sensors
- Suzuki Connect with a three-year free subscription
Ultra Grade: Even More Features
For those who want a little more luxury and convenience, the Ultra grade steps up the specification even further to include:
- New 17-inch polished alloy wheels
- Panoramic sliding sunroof
- Premium suede and leather seats
- Front and rear parking sensors
- Electric folding door mirrors with built-in indicators
- Overhead storage console for extra convenience
Improved Hybrid Efficiency
Suzuki has also focused on making the Vitara even more efficient for 2025, with improved fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions. For the manual transmission models with 2-wheel drive (2WD), the 1.4-litre mild-hybrid engine offers a 9% improvement in fuel consumption, now achieving an impressive 53.2 mpg (WLTP combined). Full hybrid models with 2WD and AGS (Automated Gear Shift) transmission see a 6% improvement, reaching 56.4 mpg. The CO2 emissions have also been reduced, with the 1.5-litre full hybrid Motion model now emitting just 113g/km, down from 119g/km in the previous model.
Powertrain Options: Mild Hybrid & Full Hybrid
As before, the 2025 Vitara continues to offer hybrid power as standard, with a choice of two powertrains:
- 1.4-litre Boosterjet turbocharged petrol engine with 48V mild hybrid for those who prefer a manual transmission, or:
- 1.5-litre full hybrid version with AGS transmission, offering the convenience of automatic transmission.
Both versions can be paired with either 2WD or 4WD, offering flexibility to meet different driving needs and makes the Vitara one of the few compact SUVs to offer both manual and automatic hybrid drivetrain options, with the choice of four-wheel drive as well.
With the 2025 updates, the Vitara continues to deliver a blend of modern style, advanced safety features, and eco-friendly hybrid technology. Whether you’re looking for a practical daily driver, a family-friendly SUV, or a vehicle with cutting-edge tech and improved efficiency, the new Vitara checks all the boxes. The introduction of the Motion and Ultra grades further enhances its appeal, offering more customisation options and added luxury. With better fuel economy, lower emissions, and an even higher level of standard equipment, the 2025 Vitara looks set to remain a strong contender in the competitive small SUV market.
